Figure 4.1-4.3 above shows the graphical relationship between the treatment applied and the output parameters. It was recorded that 3mm, 6mm, 9mm of 2000g feed rate each was subjected to temperature of 700c. it was observed that the weight decreases with time.
Figure 4.1 – 4.9 above shows the graphical relationship between the treatment applied and the output parameters. It was recorded that 3mm, 6mm and 9mm of 2000g feed rate each was subjected to temperature of 500c at 4 hours interval, 600c at 4 hours 700c at if hours. It was observed that weight decrease with time. The time taken for each figure sample at different temperature is the same. Hence, the more the temperature the faster the drying rate of Turmeric. It was also observed that different sizes at the same temperature take the same time to dry, the sizes which is 3mm interval.

ABSRACT - [ Total Page(s): 1 ]ABSTRACTDrying is out of the major problem in post harvest operation. The traditional method of Drying (Sun drying) is weather dependent and unhygienic which affect food storage most especially in developing countries like India where more than 3300 to 3700 hours of bright sunshine per year available in North- West and West coastal region. The dryer consist of the following operating component parts: a cabinet, blower, trays, temperature controller, copper wire and light emitting Diode (LED) s ... Continue reading---
