    • 4.4    THE IMPORTANCE OF ATM TO CUSTOMER RELATION IN DIAMOND BANK.
          Automatic teller machine enhances effectives customer relation between diamond bank and its customers due to its importance.
      Therefore, the followings are the importance of automatic teller machine to customer relation in diamond bank.
      (1)    Easy access to bank account and withdrawal without delayment. With ATM, accessibility to account and withdrawal is done in a twinkle of an eye without getting bored.
      (2)    It erase fatigue and tiredness: ATM as an instrument is very paramount in enhancing effective customer relation due to its ability of creating real – time processing without been bored or tired.
      (3)    It enhances convenience in the side of customer – with ATM convenience is experienced and with the convenience customer will have much confidence in the bank and there by ensures perfect relation ship’s between them.
      (4)    It is important in building customer relationship by trustworthiness and in enhancing the image of the organized on by the concerned firm.
      4.5    THE EFFECT OF ATM OPERATION ON DIAMOND BANK’S CUSTOMERS
          Infacts, ATM ‘s significance, impact and effect on the operation of diamond bank’s plc cannot be over emphasized.
          Thus, the following are the effect of ATM in diamond bank’s operation.
      (1)    it facilitates easy transaction one of the major effects of ATM on diamond bank’s operation is that it facilitates easy transaction. With ATM, business transaction that ought to be done for hours can be done within a twinkle of an eye.
      (2)    it increase patronage interms of customer through ATM, the patronage of diamond bank plc has increased tremendously done to the convenience experienced by customers.
       (3)    it leads to increase in profit diamond bank’s rate turnover interms of profit has increased with the introduction of ATM into its operation.
      (4)    it allows better competitive advantage with the introduction of ATM by diamond Bank plc to its operation, it has gained better competition edge them its competitor that has not adapted the same strategy for distributing its product and services.
      4.6    CONSTRAINTS TO EFFECTIVE ATM OPERATION IN DIAMOND BANK
          automatic teller machine has the following problems.
      (1)    it has affected the utilization of human resources trained to perform those jobs, which has now be directed to the use of ATM.
      (2)    if the ATM system of the bank lack good communication and efficient management control, the ATM output will produce errors or wrong data.
      (3)    a huge cost are incurred in maintaining and servicing of ATM when it develop faults.
      (4)    since the diamond bank has been able to facilitate a rapid responses to their customers services by the use of ATM, another cost has incurred to those services.
      (5)    ATM are dependent to human effort of it operation i.e ATM machine cannot work on it own without human ability.
      Data analysis presentation
          The objective of this chapter is top present relevant data in which finding will be based. It is also designed to presents and analysis response got through the administering questionnaire. Alos the analysis stage a lot of consideration concerning do research derived from the data presented and analysis. The analysis shall be contain tables where the data gathered from the respondents are analysis for furthered proceeding.
          Therefore the table and analysis would be based on the 250 questionnaire available for the research. The table are drawn in three column. i.e. alternative, respondents and percentage rating.
