HO₃: There is no significant difference in the performances of students based on teachers’ gender.
The table above revealed that there is significant difference in the academic performance of student taught Biology based on teachers’ gender (.387). Since the P-value is less than the level of significance (0.05), therefore we fail to reject the null hypothesis. Therefore male and female does not significantly have difference on students’ academic performance.Summary of Major Findings
1. Teachers’ attitude influence students’ academic performance in biology.
2. Teachers’ qualification influence students’ academic performance in biology.
3. There is significant difference between teachers’ academic year of teaching and students’ academic performance in biology.
4. Teachers teaching qualification has no significant difference with the student academic performance.
5. Teachers teaching experience has no significant difference with the student academic performance.
6. That there is significant difference between the academic performance of student taught Biology by male and female teachers.
