SAMPLE SIZE:
It is pertinent to note that to carry out the research work with the whole population of the organization will be difficult and indeed undesirable for a research of this nature. Hence the determination of a sample size which will be a fair and balanced representation of the organization is necessary.
A sample size of seventy five will be chosen of which 21 of it, will be form senior staff, while 54 will be from junior staff. And questionnaires will be administrated.
The data finally collected will be analyzed together with the response from
INSTRUMENT
The statistical tools that will be used for this study are simple percentage which the researcher will use in calculating the scores of each point of reference based on the number of respond on the survey instrument and also among the instrument that will be use is chi-square (x2) to test the hypothesis.
The reason for using this instruments is their simplicity and appropriate in the test of hypothesis and research question. The research work of Dibua and Dibua (2005) will be used to test the hypothesis which is3.5 VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY OF THE MEASURING INSTRUMENT: The problem of reliability of data collected in the social science is not the same with that of natural science.
In natural science, a researcher is expected to present and discussed logical relationship and consistency of data collected with that of some body who performs the same result. If the second researcher obtains the same result as the first researcher, the data could be seen as reliable.
However, in the social science, one visualize as problem of reliability of data from the perspective of contextual validity.
This means that we discuss reliability from the context of what the researcher has done in terms of activities.
Design (1972) said that in term of contextual validity, if the materials collected by the researcher were those related to the object studied, the data could be seen as being reliable.
3.6 SAMPLE TECHNIQUES:
For this study, random sampling technique will be used in selecting respondents to whom questionnaires will be administered.
This technique will make it possible for senior and junior staffs to be selected and represented in the study and also ensure meaningful generalization.
