    •     By providing answers to the questions propounded and generated by ACTIONS theory, this study sought to establish the availability and utilization of computers in teaching and learning of Business Studies in selected Secondary Schools in Kajola Local Government, Oyo State. For any technology to be useful to teachers and learners, it should be available and accessible. Bates (2005) considers cost as a strong discriminator between technologies, and it is often the first issue considered by institutional decision-makers. Generally, the technologies that are easy to use or are user friendly tend to be more accessible to teachers and learner because they seek them out willingly. Teachers and learners seek a technology that is versatile with many functions such as the computer. Under organizational issues, Bates (2005) in Kiarie (2014) says that we need educational organizations that can exploit the new technologies to meet the needs of the twenty-first century. Bates (2005) calls for changes in institutions that would allow new technologies to be used even if it is to give prestige due to their novelty. Novel technologies may also create curiosity and bring about effective learning if used in the classroom.
Emperical Reviews on Availability and Utilization of Computers in Teachings and Learning of Business Studies in Secondary Schools
Kiarie (2014) carried out a study to determine the Availability and Utilization of computers in teaching and learning of Business Studies in Secondary Schools in Westlands Distinct, Nairobi county, Kenya. The findings of the study revealed that computers were available and to a large extent accessible to teachers and learners in secondary schools of Westlands District, Nairobi County. However, the study also found out that the computers available were not sufficient for the teaching learning of both teachers and learners. The study also concluded that there was minimal usage of computers mainly because majority of the teachers had no training on the use of computers to teach. The study recommended that the government of Kenya is consultation with all stakeholders should review the entire school curriculum so as to integrate new teaching and learning methods that allow teachers time to integrate computers in teaching and learning. Also, teacher training institutions should incorporate actual hands-on practice with computers and related technologies in teaching and learning, and  that teachers should take the initiative of developing their teaching skills using emerging technologies such as computers, smart boards and such related technologies for classroom teaching.
(Osondo, Indoshi & Ongati (2010) their study showed that positive attitude toward computers are positively correlated with teachers’ extent of experience with computer technology. With familiarity, anxieties and fears towards the use of computers in the classrooms tend to decrease, and confidence increases for both teachers and students. The saying that practice makes perfect holds in relation to the use of computers in schools the confidence a teacher possesses in using computers together with accessibility of computers could therefore greatly influence his or her effective implementation of the technology in the classroom. Positive attitude of teacher toward computers is widely recognized as a necessary condition for effective use of all information and communication technology in the classroom of today.
However, all the previous researches reviewed on Availability and Utilization of computers in teaching and learning of Business Studies in Secondary Schools used different locale of different country. This study was different in the sense that it covered another locale in another country (that is Kajola Local Government, Oyo State, Nigeria).
