3.3.2 Use Case Model for the Recruitment Management System (R.M.S)
Use case diagram is dynamic in nature; it is concerned with internal and external factors that make interactions with the system. These internal and external agents are known as actors. Therefore use case diagrams consist of actors, use cases and their relationships. It is used to model the system/subsystem of an application. A single use case diagram captures a particular functionality of a system. Use case diagrams are used to gather the requirements of a system including internal and external influences. These requirements are mostly design requirements. When a system is analyzed, use cases are prepared and actors are identiï¬ed for its functionalities. It basically models how different types of users interact with the system to solve a problem (Dr. David C. Yen 1999).
This section shows how the user interacts with the information system as a whole. It helps in analysing the functional requirements of the information system.
