    • Monitor: The most frequently used output device is the monitor, also known as display screen, monitors present visual images of text and graphics. The output from monitors is often referred to as soft copy. Monitor varies on size, shape, and cost almost all, however, have some basic distinguishing features which include Resolution, Dot Pitch, Refresh Rate, Size or Viewable Image.
AN LED: screen is actually an LCD screen, but instead of having a normal Code Cathode Fluorescence Lamp (CCFL) Backlight, it uses light-Emitting diodes (LEDs) as a Source of light behind the Screen. An LED is more Energy efficient and a lot smaller than a code cathode Fluorescence Lamp (CCFL), enabling a thinner television screen.

      LED SCREEN
Cathode-Ray Tube: The most common type of monitor for the office and at home is the cathode-ray Tube (CRT) these monitor are typically placed directly on the system and or on the desktop CRT are similar in size and technology to televisions compared to other types of monitor, their primary advantages are low cost and excellent resolution their primary disadvantage is that they are bulky and secure a considerable amount of space on the desktop.
Flat Panel Monitor: because CRT are too bulky to be easily transported, portable monitor known as flat panel monitors or Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) monitors were developed, unlike the technology used in CRT, the technology for portable monitors involves liquid crystal. Flat panel monitors are much thinner and require less power to operate than CRTs. These monitors are widely used with desktop, tablet PC and handheld computers.
2.3    FUNCTION OF COMPUTER HARDWARE COMPONENT Computer hardware components include internal system component such as the motherboard and hard drives, peripherals such as printers and cameras and back devices such as USB pen drives. When explaining the function of computer hardware components describe each component individually and try to use an example screenshot to support yours answer. Part of explaining is including technical requirements and comparing different components to discuss the differences.
