From the above image the commission column is disable using the GUI without writing any line of code. The particular column that is disable, the user cannot perform any activity until is enabled. Normally to perform this kind of operation codes of like 10 lines needed to be written but with the help of the graphical user interface (GUI) in the Oracle Apex the developer can effect enabling and disabling of any column.
