CHAPTER SIX: PRODUCT IMPLEMENTATION AND TESTING
6.1 INTRODUCTION
This chapter is one of the most viable chapter because it deals with how the proposed tourism database management system was implemented. A project that is yet to be implemented is not considered tangible because the physical part of it is not is not seen. Therefore, the implementation is important that the developer has to do everything possible seeing to the accomplishment of the project. After the development of the proposed system it must undergo testing, if the system actually fulfilled the required functionality. In implementing the proposed system there are several phases employed which are considered below:
6.2 THE CONSTRUCTIVE PHASE OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM
At this phase every expertise of the developer must come into play for the development of the proposed system. This phase is one of the hardest phase of development because it involves a lot of research into pl/sql languages for the smooth running of the system.
6.3 REQUIRED PLAN FOR THE PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed system developer had it that a plan for the continuous improvement of the system is put in place even after implementation. At this phase the implementation of the tourism database management system will be done using the data warehouse approach correctly. The identification and illustration of the software and hardware of the proposed system for the implementation was considered, and also the consistency of the graphical interface.
6.4 THE SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT ENVIROMENT
This is an environment which involves system procedures and tools used for the development of the system, to meet the requirement proposed. The description of the system software and hardware for the proposed system is of the following:
6.4.1 HARDWARE
This involves the physical component of the computer (system) used for the development of the proposed system such as:
