3.2 Problems of the existing system
i. It is difficult and expensive to manage
ii. Security is not too certain/personalization goal was not achieved
iii. It incurred cost on the part of the student as one needs to have internet service at the client-end to be able to query the system for results.
iv. Disclosure of academic privacy was paramount over the existing system (school portal and notice boards)
v. System might lag or worse-still crash as a result of traffic explosion once results are published.
vi. In the case of no internet access where non-resident students are, it incurs cost as a result of calls to friends to get scores published on notice boards.
