H6: There is no significant relationship between students’ exposure to social media and their behavioral conducts.
The result in table 13 showed that the percentage of the respondents who agreed are greater than the percentage of disagreed,
the null hypothesis which states that there is no significant relationship between students’ exposure to social media and their behavioural conducts is hereby rejected. This implies that students’ exposure to many of these social media sites tends to have negative influence on their comportment, conduct and character. Some of these students who use social media regularly have anti social behaviours as well as narcissistic and aggressive tendencies not only to their parents but also to teachers and school administrators.
They are exposed to sites capable of affecting their mind and truncate their goals in life. For many, the more they are exposed, the farther they wander from the path of destiny and academic success. Dangerous relationship, music, picture and video are on social networking sites student spends long hours on.
