Question 6: Do more successful students connected on social media than less successful students?
Table 6 reveals that a good number of teachers and school administrators disagree that students who utilize social media platform perform better than their counterparts who do not use them. It implies that the utilization of the social media platforms does not have any corresponding benefits on the academic performance of the students in any respect. One can infer that most of the activities students engage in via social media have nothing related to their studies. No wonder, many school administrators are at the vanguard of advocating banning of the use of smart phones in schools.
