Research Question 2: What are the experiences of student teachers during microteaching and it impacts on students training?
Table 7 revealed that participants agreed that micro teaching helps to create awareness of teaching competences of the trainees, helps in the discovery of teaching strengths and weaknesses and gives an opportunity to learn by observing others with the mean scores of 2.95, 3. 15 and 2.99 respectively. The participants further agreed that micro teaching made me aware of what makes a good teacher, gives an opportunity to learn class management skills and encourages development of skills of self-confidence with the mean scores of 3.07, 3.07 and 3.15 respectively. Also, it was agreed by the participants that microteaching helps learning how to organize and manage my time and helps in developing the actual teaching skills that will be required in future for effective teaching with the mean scores of 3.04 and 3.18 respectively.
