APPRAISAL OF LITERATURE REVIEW
Various schorlarly opinion on the germane concepts related to the quality control and students academic performance have been explore under through investigation. The concept of quality control in education which cannotes impacting the right type of education to students in a way of meeting their needs and their societal needs. Quality control, on the other hand is hand is a means of determining the extent to which the system (education) meets the established standard. Some of the system or techniques raised for establishing quality control in the school include; supervision, evaluation, monitoring, inspection among others.
Furthermore, the need for quality control in school was sufficiently discussed to include: prevention of wastage, effective utilization of available human and material resources to achieve educational goals and ensuring that minimum requirements are met in schools. Quality control and school efficiency was explore as it was discovered that quality control promote school efficiency. In the same vein, quality control and students’ academic performance are invisible in the sense that schools that pays much attention to the quality control measures or strategies such as monitoring, supervision, inspection to mention a few are most likely to record higher and improved students academic performance.
