3.1.5 NE555 TIMER
This 555 timer IC was introduced in the year 1970 by signetic cooperation and gave the name SE/NE555 timer. It is basically a monolithic timing circuit that produced accurate and highly stable time delays or oscillation. The timer IC is setup to work in either of the two modes-one-shot or monostable or as a free-running or astable multivabrator. It operates from a wide range of power supplies range from +5volts to +18volt supply voltage. The SE555 timer can be used for temperature ranges between -55o to 125oc. The NE555 timer can be used for a temperature range between 0oc to 700c. (http://www.circuitstoday.com/555-timer/index.blog).
3.1.6 RELAYS
A relays is an electromagnetic switch. The switching ON/OFF of relay is based on flow of current through the coil. A relay is used for switching ON/OFF various high voltage circuits. In inverters, relay are used in various cut-off circuit and to switch the output between AC main supply and inverter generated supply.
