CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
5.1 CONCLUSION
The basic objective of the project that were realized include the guarantee of the supply during the absence power from service authority, the elimination of power surges and energy management induction of bill amazed from fuel cost and generator maintenance. The inverter is more environmentally friendly, easier to operate and required very little maintenance compared to a generator.
Through the project is efficient and reliable, it has some limitation;
i. It lacks transfers speed to automatically switch over during power outage.
ii. When operating on full load, the battery trends to drain off faster.
iii. It commit supply loads, greater than 1600VA
5.2 RECOMMENDATION
After the completion of the project work, the following recommendations are necessary so to achieve a high output and efficient inverter.
i. A more simplified schematic diagram should be adopted in order to reduce interconnection, thereby easing troubleshooting
ii. Further research should be done on the area of the energy source like windmill and solar
Various modification of inverter could be recommended for uses in homes and offices such modification could be with charger.
Also, the project really exposed me to power electronics and practical electronics generally which is one of the major challenges, I encounter in my field now and in future, therefore I recommend the student should be more exposed into practical aspect of their various field of studies.
