Lack of Communication Policy
Most companies or organizations do not have clear cut policies dealing with intra or inter organizational communication. Employees want straight forward, honest, balanced information and not propaganda.
In my candid opinion, for any organization to perform maximally, all efforts must be geared towards eliminating the various barriers to effective language communication. Once this is done, Management and members of staff of the organization can freely interact and communicate without a hitch.
2.8 Summary of Reviewed Literature
This chapter has focused attention on the concept of language and communication, the relationship between language and communication, types of language communication, language communication process, communication and organizational conflict. The review also dealt with the functions of language communication in an organization. This review further expatiated on the barriers to effective language communication in an organization.
From the foregoing, it is obvious that for any organization to function optimally, there must be an interaction between Management and members of staff of a given organization. Suffice to say at this juncture, that this is only realizable through the tool of effective language communication.
This chapter therefore concluded that effective language communication plays a very vital role in the efficient management of an organization. In corroboration with the numerous views expressed by scholars, it is imperative that a research be carried out to see the impact of effective management through language communication.
