Mean (x) ≥ 2.5 is considered high while is considered low based on the analysis in table 3, all items had a means rating above 2.50 indicating that items on influence of teachers’ attendance of workshops and seminars on students academic performance in mathematics are of great extent the average mean for the entire item is 2.94 which implies that respondents agreed to the statement on influence of teacher’s attendance of workshops and seminars on students academic performance in mathematics.
RQ2: Has acquisition of higher certificate by mathematics teachers any significant impact on students’ academic performance in mathematics in secondary school?
