Discussion of Findings
The major purpose of the study was to know what were the sources and management of teachers’ behavioural problems in schools. Therefore, the finding of this study is not quite different from other studies and literatures. According to Jimoh (1980), adopting an effective leadership styles is better to constrain or facilitate school activities surely make teachers and students alike interested in what they are doing. Teachers’ roles are numerous in schools. The findings revealed this and that lack of materials need not help either for a better behave teachers in school. Also Good (1980) believed that teacher’s position in school is important. It is the hinge on which a door rotate. Therefore, a teacher that is not paid when due and parental attitude to teacher who challenge or frown at teachers disciplinary measures on their children or wards.
Nevertheless, major measures are possible remedies to stop or minimize teachers’ behavioural problem. From the findings it was revealed that principals of the schools have at their disposals measures such as preventive, arrestive and resolutive measures to stop teachers’ exhibition act of indiscipline in schools. For instance, principals provide for job description to save teachers from ambiguity that may make their roles not defined and tantamount to misbehaviour or act of indiscipline.
