RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Introduction
This chapter deals with the analysis of the data collected for this research work, which is aimed at investigating the learning problems of deaf children in Kwara State School for the handicapped, Ilorin.
The responses to the Questionnaire were indicated by strongly – Agree, Agreed, Disagreed, Strongly Disagree (SA, A, D and SD). The use of t-test shall therefore be employed to determine the response of the respondents to the items of the Questionnaire.
Presentation of Results
An analysis of the responses to the research questions as contained in the questionnaire is hereby given: -
Hypotheses Testing
The following hypotheses were tested and presented as follows:
H01: There is no significant difference in the learning problems of male and female deaf students.
From the table above, the null hypothesis is accepted because the table value (2.064) which is greater than the calculated value (1.570). This means that there is no significant differences in the learning difficulties of male and female deaf students.
