4.5 Level of Education of Headmasters and Working Experience
The school principals were further asked to indicate their level of education and working experience. This is as briefly summarized by table 4.5.
In terms of Headmasters’ level of education, table 4.5 shows the responses provided were evenly distributed. This is whereby two of the principals indicated that they a degree as their highest education qualification whereas the remaining two of them had a masters. Lastly, when asked to indicate their working experience, all of the headmasters indicated that they had a working experience of not less than 5 years.
4.5 Influence of Parental Education Level on Academic Performance of Pupils
This study was set to determine how the educational level of parents influenced the academic performance of pupils in primary schools in Saki- west LG. To answer this objective, there are a number of items that were looked into. This study intended to find out the educational level of parents or guardians of the pupils. As such, the pupils were asked the educational level of their parents/guardians. The educational levels included primary, secondary, post education, university and any other.
