ABSRACT - [ Total Page(s): 1 ]This research examines the major morphological processes in Igbo with particular focus on affixation and reduplication. The study identifies common prefixes, suffixes, and infixes used in word formation and analyses how reduplication contributes to intensity, plurality, and aspectual distinctions. Data were elicited from native speakers and supported with textual sources. Findings reveal that Igbo morphology is highly systematic, and these processes significantly enhance the expressive capacity of the language.
