    • Nawarud-Deen Society of Nigeria
          The society was founded on the 4th day of November 1939 at Abeokuta Founding father were Mrs. Y.A.A Lalekan, Mr. Ademola Kazzim, Alhaji Chief Y.M. Abudu, Alhaji S.A. Adeboye later the chairman of Lagos Branch late Chief Alhaji N.S. Ogungemi late Mr. L.L. Buraimo, late Mr. J.S. Gbenro and Mr. Daudu S. Folarin, the first president of the society was late Alhaji Chief T.S. Dikko while lat J.S. Gbenro was the Vice-President. Other members of the first Executive of the society included Mr. Ademola Kazzim, the secretary general while Alhaji N.S. Ogunfemi was the Treasurer of the society,Alhaji S.A. Adegboye was the secretary late K.A.G. Adetona, Chairman of Education Board/General Manager, late L.L. Buraimo Legal Adviser while Mr. Y.A.A Lalekan was the first Auditor of the society. Other members of the first Executive of the society were Alhaji Chief Y.M. Abudu and Mr. Daudo Sodolamu Folarin. The above mentioned founding fathers of the society held their first meeting in Alhaji J.S. Gbenro’s house Ago-Odo, Abeokuta known as JAAFARU’S CAFT. The first trustees of the society are Mr. Ademola Kazzim, Mr. Y.A.A. Lalekan, late Alhaji Chief T.S. Dikko and Alhaji Chief G.I.K. Anidugbe.
      Aims and Objectives
      i.    Promote, foster, encourage and sustain the religion of Islam
      ii.    Promote the educational moral, social and cultural advancement of the Muslim Community.
      iii.    Establish and maintain bookshops, magazine libraries. Printing press and any other business in the interest of Islam and for the advancement of the Muslim Community generally.
      iv.    The society shall be non-political. The founding fathers started to appeal to other eminent Muslims inside and outside Abeokuta to join the society. This led to the appointment of a paid missionary of the first missionary of the society was late A.U.B. Akamo.
      Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria
          As a result of Sheikh Kamalu-Deen’s new innovation in the teaching of Arabic, many scholars and Muslims who were hitherto not members of his circle craved to join him. This new development resulted into the formation of the Ansaru-Islam Society, which was to cater for the large group while the A-Adabiyyat School catered for the teaching of Arabic Islamic Studies.
      Aims and Objectives
      i.    Dissemination Arabic and Islamic Culture
      ii.    The spread of Islam to areas it has not hitherto reached.
      iii.    Extending Islamic brotherhood to all books and comes of Nigeria.
      iv.    Encouraging the spirit of service and co-operation for the cause of Islam.

      Jamaatul-Islamiyyat of Nigeria
          Jamaat-ulIslamiyya of Nigeria (formerly known as the Islamic Society of Nigeria) was established in March 1924, the Jammat was founded by its first leader, Alh. L.B. Aguesto vehemently opposed the Qadian belief that one is not a true Muslim unless he also regards Gulam Ahmad as a prophet. It was Alhaji L.B. Agusto  who first invited the Qadian Ahahmadiyya Movement form Lahore, India o Nigeria in 1916 and became the Chairman of the Movement in this country. It was the same Alhaji L.B. Agusto who first saw grave religious flaws in the Qadian doctrine and opted out of the movement in 1924. It took some other members of Ahmadiyya nearly five decades (1916 - 1973) before they realized the truth as perceived by Alhaji L.B. Agusto in 1924.
      Aims and Objectives
      i.    To study, practice and teach Islam as contained the Holy Quran and the authentic Hadith; and carry the message of Islam to other parts of the world.
      ii.    To promote the interest and well-being of the Muslim in general and the Muslim Community of Nigeria in particular.
      iii.    To fund, build and maintain educational institutions.
      iv.    To purchase, lease or otherwise acquire land, building and tenements for the purpose of providing Mosques, Schools, Colleges Orphanages and other Educational and Philanthropic Institutions.
      v.    To produce and publish Islamic Literature, books tracts Journals and newspapers; and to inaugurate and maintain classes, lectures and similar activities of the purpose of disseminating the true knowledge of Islam.
      vi.    To found and maintain libraries.
      vii.    To undertake all such other activities as the Jamat may deem fit form time to time.
