Reagents
• Alanine aminotransferase assay kit (RANDOX)
• Aspartate aminotransferase assay kit(RANDOX)
• Alkaline Phosphatase assay kit (AGAPPE)
• Total protein assay kit (AGAPPE)
• Albumin assay kit (AGAPPE)
• Urea assay kit (AGAPPE)
• Creatinine assay kit (AGAPPE)
• Copper assay kit (AAS)
• Zinc assay kit (AGAPPE)
Laboratory Equipment
The laboratory equipment used in this study is not limited to but include the following;
• Spectrophotometer
• Centrifuge
• Freezer
• Water bath
• Test tube racks
• Automatic pipettes
3.6 Statistical Analysis
Statistical analyses including descriptive statistics was carried out using the Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) version 16.0. All values were expressed as Mean ± Standard Error of the Mean. The Independent t-test was used to determine significant differences in test parameters in the test and control groups. Confidence limit was set at 95%; level of significance (p <0.05).
