The Physical And Microbiological Investigation Of Some Local Beverage Drinks
[A CASE STUDY OF ILORIN METROPOLIS, KWARA STATE] -

Table 4.5 shows the isolate of microbial in Kunu, Zobo, Pito and Soy milk in Kwara Central Geopolitical Zone. As shown in the table, only Soy milk has 2 S.aureus while Kunu, Zobo and Pito has none. With respect to E. coli, Kunu has 2, Pito 3 and Soy milk also has 3. Furthermore, 4 Candida sp. were found in Kunu, 2 in Pito and 8 were found in Soy milk respectively. Statistically, the occurrence of microbial isolate in the zone was not significant (p>0.05).
