TESTING OF RESEARCH HYPOTHESIS
The research hypothesis will be tested using chi-square (x2) to either accept or reject the Nil hypothesis (Ho)
Chi-square formula
where e =expected value
o= observed value
HYPOTHESIS 1:
There is no significant relationship between adolescent knowledge and choosing nursing as a career.
To Calculate the expected value (e), multiply the column total for the cell by row total for that cell and divide by the total number of observation for the whole table.
