Chi –square calculated (x2c) = 43.18
Chi –square tabulated (x2t) = (r-1)(c-1),x
Standard value for x =1, x =1, 0.005
Chi-square tabulated = 3.841
DECISION RULE
Reject Ho, if x2c is greater than x2t, if not accept Ho.

from the above contingency table analyzed, the result revealed that
there is a significant relationship between factors that influence
adolescent choice and consideration of nursing as nursing as career,
consideration that x2c value 43.18 is greater than x2c value 3.841
therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected.
