    • This study evaluated the knowledge, attitude and practice of prevention of sexually transmitted infections among undergraduate students. The study specifically investigated the Level of knowledge of Sexually Transmitted Diseases of Undergraduates in UniBen, examined the Attitude of the undergraduates towards sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and, found out practice of undergraduates towards sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) prevention.

      The survey design was adopted and the simple random sampling techniques were employed in this study. The population size comprise of undergraduate students in University of Benin, Edo State. In determining the sample size, the researcher conveniently selected 261 respondents and 260 were validated. Self-constructed and validated questionnaire was used for data collection. The collected and validated questionnaires were analyzed using frequency tables and mean scores. The result of the findings reveals that the Level of knowledge of Sexually Transmitted Diseases of Undergraduates in UniBen is high.

      Therefore, the study recommended that there is need to organise functional literacy programmes for porters to build their capacity in basic literacy and numeracy so they can identify and understand some basic STI issues and behave appropriately towards infection prevention.
