Hypotheses Three
H03: There is no significant difference between student perception toward practical agriculture science and their choice of agricultural science as a career.
Using the degree of freedom of 1 at a significant level the calculated Chi-square value = 0.645 and it corresponding table value is = 3.84. Since the calculated Chi-square value is less than table value the original null hypothesis was not rejected. Hence there is no significant difference between gender attitude toward practical agricultural science and choice of agricultural science as a career.
Hypothesis Four
HO4: There is no significant differences between the interest of male and female student toward practical agricultural science.
Using the degree of freedom of 1 at a significant level of 0.05 the calculated Chi-square value = 0.008 and it corresponding table value is = 3.84 Since the Chi-square calculated value is less than table value the Null hypothesis was retained
Hence there is no significant difference in the interest of students towards practical agricultural science.
